About Citizenship Test Questions
A few words about Citizenship Test Questions: an independent study site for people preparing for a citizenship or settlement test.

What the site does
We write practice questions from each country's official study guide. You answer them the way the real test asks them: one question at a time. Every answer shows why it is right and which chapter it comes from. The site covers four tests:
- Life in the UK test
Written from Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents
- Canadian citizenship test
Written from Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship
- Australian citizenship test
Written from Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond
- US civics test
Written from 128 Civics Questions and Answers (2025 version)
Site facts: the four tests in numbers, what is free and what is paid
How it is paid for
Most of the site is free. One payment opens the rest of one test. There is no subscription and no account.

For the US civics test, the US interview pack (US$9.99) adds five things: the full interview (it stops when you pass or fail, as the real one does); interviews under the 65/20 rule; practice of the questions you got wrong; reading and writing practice for the English test; and N-400 interview English (the words of Form N-400 and the officer's questions).
The all-tests unlock is £7.99. The official US questions are free from USCIS too. What full access adds.

No account. Your scores are saved in this browser on this device. If you accept analytics, summary test results are also measured, never your answers (see the privacy policy). Full access is a code you enter once. It appears on screen straight after payment.
What it is not
We are not a government site, and we do not have the real test questions.
We are not affiliated with the Home Office, IRCC, the Department of Home Affairs, USCIS or any government. Book your test and check the rules on the official page for your country.
How we check questions
We check every question against the official guide before we publish it.

- From the guide, in our own words
Each question comes from one chapter of the official guide. We never copy the guide's paragraphs.
- Facts as the guide states them
Where the guide gives a number or a date, the question uses it, because that is what the test marks.
- Checked before we publish
Automatic checks first, then a second, independent review against the guide.
- You can report a mistake
Every explanation has a "Report a mistake in this question" link, and we correct the question.
